About the Dobbs Team

Steve and Jo Dobbs live in Louisville KY.
Steve’s first career was in Agri-business in Hardinsburg, KY with Dobbs Seed and Grain Co., Inc. Steve worked in the business from the ground up sweeping the floor and ended as president and General Manager. Dobbs Seed and Grain started out in the seed processing business as KY 31 Tall Fescue was first released in KY. They expanded into the grain business in 1975 and grew that business over the years. They expanded into the fertilizer and agricultural chemical business in 1985.
Dobbs Seed and Grain was a family owned business and there was a desire to turn assets into cash. The business was sold in 1997 to Terra International from Sioux City, Iowa. Dobbs Seed and Grain succeeded in part due to Steve’s attention to detail and customer service. Real Estate seemed like a good fit, Steve became a Realtor® and The Dobbs Team was created.
